They welcomed their second child together in 2016, but that doesn’t mean things are necessarily over when it comes to the idea that “Sister Wives” stars Robyn and Kody Brown will have more kids together.

Fans were shocked back in 2015 when the couple announced they were having another child together, as the news came on the heels of news Kody had divorced his first wife, Meri, so he could legally adopt Robyn’s kids from her first marriage, but they were still delighted to learn that the pair’s daughter—their second child together, Robyn’s 5th and Kody’s 15th, was born in January 2016. Since Ariella Mae’s birth, the family has continued to grow as three of the older kids all got married, and Maddie Brown welcomed a son and daughter of her own with her husband, Caleb Brush. However, grandbabies aren’t necessarily the only ones that the family may be thinking of welcoming in the future.

During the show’s most recent episode, both Kody and Robyn opened up about the possibility that Ariella may not be the last kid they have, indicating that the book isn’t fully closed on that chapter of their lives.

“A lot of people, a lot of my peers, are looking forward to an empty nest,” Kody said in the episode. “I’ve never been that person, I’m constantly debating with myself whether Ari’s the last or not...I was either looking forward to being a father, or a father, for the past 25 years...it’s a weird thought for me to think that I am not gonna have any more kids.”

“It’s like he’s trying to say, ‘I’m young enough to have more kids if I want to,’” Robyn added later. “Kody and I are like always trying to make sure that our family is complete and there isn’t some sweet little spirit in Heaven waiting to be born to our family. We just want to make sure that, like, Ari really, truly is the last of our family.”

Though the couple didn’t confirm or deny in the episode if they were going to expand their family (and didn’t discuss the comments while live-tweeting the episode), they have been the focus of rumors regarding potential pregnancies and more children over the years.

In fact, in 2017, Robyn even took to social media to slam reports that she was pregnant and planning to leave Kody and the family behind.

The questions about whether or not the couple would welcome a fifth child come as fans also begin to question Meri’s continued role in the family, especially as they theorize that Kody may have secretly already married a fifth wife.

New episodes of “Sister Wives” air Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
