With 2-0 leads in their respective best-of-five series, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers appear poised to advance to the National League Championship Series. But according to oddsmakers, their opponents have a viable shot at overcoming their series deficits.

The Dodgers, who came within a win of winning the 2017 World Series, have 8/5 odds to come out of the NL again but are just ahead of the Brewers at 9/4 odds. However, the Colorado Rockies (13/4) and the Atlanta Braves (9/2) remain in the hunt, as both clubs need to win three straight games to advance to the NLCS.

Winners of six straight games, the Dodgers have dominated the Braves in Los Angeles, outscoring the NL East champions by a combined score of 9-0. The series heads to Atlanta on Sunday, with rookie Walker Buehler taking the mound for Los Angeles and right-hander Kevin Gausman on the hill for Atlanta.

Oddsmakers list the Dodgers behind two American League teams as World Series favorites. Los Angeles has (9/2) odds to win their first World Series title in 30 years, but the defending champion Houston Astros have 7/2 odds and the Boston Red Sox, who finished with a 108-54 record, have 15/4 odds.

During the regular season, the Dodgers edged the Brewers in their head-to-head meetings, 4-3. In their last meeting, the Dodgers thumped the Brewers at Dodger Stadium, 21-5.

The Brewers have the fifth-best odds (15/2) of winning the World Series. Milwaukee's only appearance in the Fall Classic came in 1982 when they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Manager Craig Counsell sends lefty Wade Miley to the mound in Game 3 in Denver. The Rockies will start 23-year-old German Marquez.

The Rockies (10/1) and Braves (12/1) are the biggest longshots to win the World Series. The Cleveland Indians, who trail the Astros 1-0 in the American League Division Series, have the worst odds among the AL teams at 17/2.
