WWE SummerSlam 2015 Betting Odds: The Undertaker, Seth Rollins Among Favorites To Win Their Matches
With SummerSlam 2015 just days away, a few wrestlers stand out as heavy favorites to win their respective matches. But the top of the card isn’t easy to predict, as the betting odds indicate the biggest matches could go either way.
The Undertaker is a slight favorite to defeat Brock Lesnar in the main event, though the odds have shifted closer toward the former UFC champ this week. The Deadman could get revenge for his WrestleMania 30 loss, but Lesnar has rarely lost decisively since returning to WWE in 2012. Lesnar has been pinned or submitted in only two of his 13 matches in the last three years, and he’s 3-0 at SummerSlam during that time.
Seth Rollins is favored to beat John Cena, but fans that choose to bet on either wrestler might get their money back. With both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and United States Championship on the line, there seems to be a good chance that the match won’t have a conclusive winner.
Sheamus is the biggest favorite on the SummerSlam card. After losing to Randy Orton at WWE Battleground, he’s expected to get his win back on Sunday.
The toughest singles match to predict might be Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro, according to the oddsmakers. While Owens is favored to beat Cesaro, the Swiss Superman has been given even odds to win the match. Owens has lost his last two pay-per-view matches, and Cesaro hasn’t had a PPV match since Elimination Chamber in May.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if no titles change hands on Sunday at Barclays Center, but the tag team champions are the most likely to lose their belts. The New Day are a slight favorite to beat the Prime Time Players.
