For May, Xbox Live Gold members will get a mix of free indie, major and “Star Wars” titles.

Microsoft’s Major Nelson says May’s lineup of free games from Xbox Live’s Games With Gold program is led on the Xbox One by “Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams — Director’s Cut.” The platformer will be available for the whole month of May and will get paired with “Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris” May 16-June 15.

On the Xbox 360, the Games With Gold calendar starts with “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II,” which will be available from May 1 to May 15. The game will be followed by “Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga,” which runs from May 16 to May 31. Both titles are backwards compatible and can be played on the Xbox One.

Originally released in 2012, “Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams” is a reboot of 1987’s original “The Great Giana Sisters” and was funded via a Kickstarter campaign. In the game, players use a mix of platforming action and environmental manipulation to navigate through a dream-inspired world. The “Director’s Cut” version of the game features updated graphics and the downloadable content chapter “Rise of the Owlverlord.” Check out a trailer for the game below:
