10 Facts About Tucker Carlson, Bill O'Reilly's Replacement At Fox News

After Bill O'Reilly's ouster from Fox News on Wednesday, host Tucker Carlson is all set to take the 8 p.m. slot on the channel, starting Monday, the channel said. The decision came soon after 21st Century Fox announced that O'Reilly would not return to the network amid sexual harassment allegations.

Carlson began hosting the show "Tucker Carlson Tonight" in November after former host Megyn Kelly quit Fox News. Carlson enjoyed a strong debut with 3.7 million viewers, network executives said, according to Deadline.

1) Carlson began his journalism career in 1993 at Little Rock's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, where he was an editorial writer.

2) Carlson quit CNN following a heated argument with Jon Stewart on Crossfire in 2004.

3) Carlson was a contestant on the reality show "Dancing With the Stars" in 2006.
