Bored with a very long layover in Nashville, a 24-year-old man named William Todd went on a crime spree which police called a terror, committing over 10 felonies in 9 hours including carjacking, lighting a business on fire and tasing people.

Todd began his crime spree at 3 a.m. on Monday after disembarking from a Greyhound bus in Nashville from Kentucky.

He was just on a terror. I've never seen anything like this before, Sgt. Tony Blackburn, told WSMV-TV.

According to WSMV-TV, Todd broke into a business, The Slaughterhouse, to steal a Taser, a revolver and a shotgun before going on a shooting spree inside and eventually lighting the building on fire.

Police said Todd then tased, pistol-whipped and stole cash and credit cards from four patrons at a local bar all while holding them at gunpoint. About five minutes later, Todd hijacked a taxi and drove to Walmart, where he spent over $200.

He was able to find the Walmart on Nolensville. He goes there and purchased $199 worth of items, Sgt. Blackburn said.

According to the Huffington Post, things got really weird when Todd tore through a law office, defacted, and smeared his own feces on desks and frames hanging on the walls. After, he moved to a nearby hotel where he posed as a female housekeeper and robbed a Canadian couple, stealing $600 while at gunpoint and shaved his head to rid of a long red ponytail that could lead to police finding his identity.

Around 9 a.m., Todd crashed the cab he stole into a parking garage and hijacked another one two hours later, holding the driver at knifepoint.

Police, on the search for Todd, found him submerged in a water-cooling vat in Opryland where he was hiding. The Metro Fire Department reportedly helped to remove him from the vat where he was then arrested.

William Todd's bond has been set at $180,000 while police still continue to charge him with additional felonies including burglary, aggravated assault and fraud.

He rode the Greyhound bus and had a layover, then left in blue lights, Sgt. Blackburn said. There definitely could be more charges. We hope that there are no more victims.
