The day has finally arrived. Lil Dicky's comedy series "Dave" premieres on FXX on Wednesday.
Lil Dicky stars in the new series based on his own life as Dave, "a suburban neurotic man in his late 20s who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time," as described by Deadline.
Joining the rapper on-screen are actors Taylor Misiak, who will portray Dave's girlfriend, Andrew Santino as Dave's roommate, GaTa will be "a heightened version of himself" as Dave's hype man, Travis Bennett will portray a childhood friend of Dave's and Christine Ko's character is an old friend from the advertising world.
Lil Dicky has some big names behind the new project too which includes comedian and actor Kevin Hart, who will produce the series, alongside Greg Mottola, Saladin Patterson, Scooter Braun, Marty Bowen, Mike Hertz, James Shin, and Scott Manson. And let's not forget, "The League" co-creator Jeff Schaffer aided the rapper in creating the series.
