The incident comes months after a man in the western Indian state of Maharashtra raped his daughter by blackmailing her with a video of her having sex with her boyfriend. The 17-year-old girl was in a relationship with her collegemate. The boy got intimate with her at her home and sexually assaulted her. Hours after the boy left, the girl’s father approached her and showed her a video of the two getting intimate. The 40-year-old unidentified man then began blackmailing her and told her he would make the video viral. He then raped her. The man was arrested.
