12 Days of Gifts Day 2 Once Upon A Time

The gifts keep coming from Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). The tech giant continued its “12 Days of Gifts” event, via its iOS app available on the App Store for all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running at iOS 7 and above.

For Day Two of the Dec. 26-Jan. 6 event, the “12 Days of Gifts” app featured a free pilot episode of the hit ABC series “Once Upon a Time.”

Starring Jennifer Morrison (“House”) and a set of recurring and guest characters, the drama features characters from various fairy tales living in the fictional “real-world” town of Storybrooke, Maine.

This is the first year that Apple has included the United States in its “12 Days of Gifts” event. In previous years, the Apple giveaway event was only available to iTunes and iOS users in Europe, Canada and Japan.

Previous giveaways included music from the Foo Fighters, television episodes of NBC’s “30 Rock,” iOS games, ebooks, classic movies such as Charlie Chaplin’s “Modern Times” and other iOS apps.

For iTunes users who don’t have an iOS device or are running a version older than iOS 7, you can still get the featured free content. As long as you have iTunes, you can receive the gift of the day by navigating to the content page in the iTunes Store or App Store.

Download the 12 Days of Gifts app from the App Store and get your hands on the Day Two “Once Upon A Time” pilot episode or download it direct from iTunes.

If “Once Upon a Time” doesn’t pique your interest, don’t worry. The “12 Days of Gifts” event continues with a new gift each day until Jan. 6, leaving plenty of time for more content for all types of interests.
