Donald Trump is known for saying some pretty ridiculous things, but one of the most disturbing by far is his comments on his daughter Ivanka. It’s enough to make any father shudder.
From inappropriate comments on her physical appearance to touching her the way a dad shouldn’t, here’s our top collection of moments that Trump acted in a problematic way to his eldest daughter.
1. When Ivanka was a 16-year-old hosting the Miss Teen USA pageant, he said “Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?” Not the right choice of words at all, sir. She’s sitting in his lap in this picture, and his hand is resting uncomfortably low on her hip. No thanks! He decided to talk about her curves and call her “very voluptuous.” Of course this quote took place on the Howard Stern Show, aka the seedy underbelly of American media. That time when he told the women on The View, in 2006, that if Ivanka wasn’t his daughter, he’d be dating her. First off, it’s rude to say your daughter’s standards would be that low. In a “60 Minutes” interview with Stormy Daniels, the adult actress mentioned that Trump tried to get into bed with her initially by calling her “beautiful and smart just like his daughter Ivanka.” Yuck! In an interview with Wendy Williams, he was asked what his and Ivanka’s favorite things are. Of course, Ivanka says “real estate and golf” before her dad has an incredibly cringe-worthy moment and says “I was going to say s*x but I can’t relate that to her” to which his daughter laughs. A report in The Hill claimed that Ivanka Trump was looking to take over the White House office space that the first lady would usually occupy. We have no idea how his wife Melania felt about this, but can definitely take a few guesses! Once he asked the question if it was wrong to be more attracted to your daughter than your wife. Apparently, this line was written in a column by Richard Cohen, but was erased before publication. This comment was edited out of the show, but in a 2016 episode, we heard Trump talk about how he kisses Ivanka every chance that he gets. An innocent moment of affection gone wrong once again, thanks to Don’s weirdness. This leads us directly to talk about the general uncomfortable nature of Trump’s body language towards his daughter.
