18-Foot Grey Shark Seen off Cambria: Warning Issued
An 18-foot-long, grey shark was spotted in the water off Cambria coast. The authorities have posted warning signs at the beach and have asked beachgoers to be careful.
The shark was spotted a day earlier about 50 yards offshore, confirmed the officials of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, on Monday.
The beach is open; however, the authorities have restricted the swimmers and visitors from swimming, and urged them to stay out of water.
Cambria, on the Pacific Ocean, is a popular tourist destination located between San Francisco and Los Angeles in the California State.
In 2008, a man was killed by a shark in the ocean near San Diego, off the Southern California coast.
