'19 Kids And Counting' Recap: Anna Duggar’s Pregnancy Test Result Revealed, Is She Having Baby No. 4?

Tuesday night's Season 8 episode of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” followed Josh and Anna Duggar on the last leg of their cross-country RV trip. After visiting several tourist locations, the couple and their three children finished their journey by making a stop in Chicago to visit Anna’s sister Priscilla Waller, and her husband David, to attend their gender reveal party.

In a “Reveal To Remember,” all the party guests wore pink and blue to represent their gender prediction. While a majority of the partygoers sported blue, Priscilla and David announced that they were expecting a baby girl to join their 1-year-old son, Paul. (In present day, Priscilla gave birth to her daughter, Davia Lynn, Nov. 12.)

While Anna expressed her excitement over learning she would soon have a niece, spending time with her pregnant sibling had her thinking about adding another addition to her own brood. After the gender reveal, the “19 Kids” star admitted to taking several pregnancy tests since giving birth to her and Josh’s youngest child Marcus in June 2013.

“We [have] definitely talked a lot about babies and our families and so I think I’m going to go ahead and take another pregnancy test,” Anna said.

So will there be another Duggar baby in the near future? Despite the network teasing a potential fourth child for Anna and Josh, both 26, the couple revealed that they’re not expecting another baby to join Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 3, and Marcus, 1.

“My heart is definitely to leave the size of our family in God’s hands but I’m the fifth born so thats at least a good start,” Anna said. “Maybe God is giving us a space because next we’re going to have twins.”

Anna, who was disappointed by the negative pregnancy test, said she hopes to eventually have five or more children. Josh said he was open to the idea of having a large family like his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle.

“I’m open to whatever,” he said. “I mean I think my parents are extraordinary people to have had 19, so I don’t know if we’ll have that many. But we'll see, you never know.”
