'19 Kids And Counting' Stars Amy Duggar, Jessa Seewald Gushes Over Josh And Anna's Baby Girl Meredith
The Duggar family just got a little bit bigger. Josh and Anna Duggar, stars of TLC’s now-defunct reality-television series “19 Kids and Counting,” welcomed over the weekend their fourth child, a girl. After the announcement of the arrival of Meredith Grace Duggar, Josh’s cousin Amy Duggar spoke out about the newest member of the Arkansas brood.
“Meredith Grace is perfect,” Amy posted on Instagram Sunday night. “Congratulations to @joshduggar @annaduggar #familykeepsongrowingsoblessed.” She included a photograph of herself sporting a big smile while holding her newborn second cousin wrapped in a pink blanket.
Amy, 28, who recently celebrated a big milestone with her engagement to Dillon King, isn’t the only Duggar gushing about Meredith. Josh’s pregnant sister Jessa Seewald also spoke out on social media about her debut. “My beautiful niece!” Jessa, 22, captioned an image of the sleeping infant. “So excited to welcome little Meredith Grace Duggar into the world!”
Josh and Anna announced the arrival of their newest little one on Twitter Sunday. According to Josh’s tweet, Meredith Grace was born weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces:
Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, commented on Meredith’s arrival through their official video blog. “Anna did an amazing job through labor ... She and I were talking and this really probably is her best labor yet,” Michelle said. “We are just rejoicing with Josh and Anna. Sweet little Meredith Grace is beautiful.”
Meredith joins sister Mackynzie, 5, and brothers Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2. The next member of the Duggar clan, Jessa and Ben Seewald’s first baby, is due to arrive Nov. 1. Unlike Josh and Anna, who chose to reveal their daughter’s gender before her birth, the newlywed couple has decided to keep their child’s sex a secret.
