‘2 Broke Girls’ Season 6 Premiere: Synopses Tease Arrival Of Sophie And Oleg's Baby
The CBS sitcom “2 Broke Girls” is coming back with a bang with a two-episode premiere for Season 6.
But what exactly can fans expect from these two episodes? CarterMatt has released the synopses for the episodes, which reveal Max Black’s (Kat Dennings) heartbreak and the arrival of Sophie Kaczynski (Jennifer Coolidge) and Oleg Golishevsky’s (Jonathan Kite) new bundle of joy.
The synopsis for the first episode, titled “And the Two Openings: Part One,” reads: “As Max and Caroline, now part owners of the diner, put the finishing touches on their newly converted Dessert Bar, Max deals with the aftermath of her recent breakup with Randy, and Sophie and Oleg prepare for the birth of their baby.”
Meanwhile, the synopsis for the second episode, titled “And the Two Openings: Part Two,” reads: “When Sophie goes into labor just before the Dessert Bar’s grand opening, she demands that Max and Caroline be present for the birth. Also, the girls run into problems when they don’t secure a liquor license for their new venue.”
Little is known about the upcoming season, save for a couple of guest stars who will appear on the show. Entertainment Weekly earlier reported that puppet master J. Petto (Andy Dick), who appeared in episode 7 of Season 2, will be making a reappearance this season.
J. Petto was scaring customers away from Max and Caroline Channing’s (Beth Behrs) cupcake because of his creepy performance, but when the girls asked him to leave, he got into a minor accident and sued the girls.
Meanwhile, rapper 2 Chainz, responsible for hits such as “Watch Out” and “We Own It,” will also go to the dessert bar as himself.
As for Oleg, Kite said that he’s certain his character will step up to fatherhood quite well. “I think he'll be good, I mean I think he has a lot of love, and I think that's why he and Sophie work out so well,” he told Michigan Avenue.
“2 Broke Girls” Season 6 will premiere on Oct. 10 on CBS.
