2 Celebrity Couples Tied The Knot This Weekend: Here's The Details [Photos]
Two celebrity couples said "I do" and started their new journey together this weekend.
Former "Bachelor contestant Madison Prewett married financial analyst and inspirational speaker Grant Troutt on Saturday in Dallas. Also, country superstars HARDY and Caleigh Ryan tied the knot in Nashville, Tennessee, the same day.
"We chose this location because it's unique and special to us and having all our friends and family there means so much. I have always wanted to get married in the fall and we wanted a short engagement, so it couldn't be more perfect," Prewett, 26, told People.
The "Bachelor" alum shared sweet snaps of the wedding on her Instagram page and wrote, "It's like heaven knew I needed you. 10.29.22."
The pair married nearly after three months after their engagement on July 31. Troutt, 26, proposed to Prewett in a romantic location at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, just after eight months into the relationship.
"Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it," Prewett said at the time.
Prewett told People in August they were planning on having a short engagement. "We want the wedding to embody our values and beliefs and be the best celebration with all of our people. We want a chic and classy wedding," she said.
The marriage ceremony took place at Troutt's parents' home in Dallas. Around 400 guests, including family members and friends, took part. "Bachelor" alums Victoria Fuller, Hannah Ann Sluss and Kelley Flanagan attended the function.
Meanwhile, country music singer and songwriter HARDY married longtime girlfriend Ryan, who was the former campus ambassador for the Memphis Grizzlies, in front of 350 guests in a romantic ceremony at Diamond Creek Farms.
Before the wedding march, HARDY insisted on having a first look to help him manage his emotions during the ceremony. A first look is a moment when the bride and groom pose before an official photographer prior to the ceremony itself.
"I know that if it was in front of a giant crowd of people, he would be trying as hard as he possibly could to not cry," Ryan explained to People. "And I'm like, 'No, let it all out.'"
HARDY eventually cried during the wedding despite the first look, the outlet reported.
