Both victims were walking in the neighborhood when they were reportedly approached and attacked from behind by a man, according to police.

The two women were able to fight off their attacker and flee to safety.

The first attack allegedly occurred near South Park and Erin Street. The woman was able to get away, but the man once more approached her near St. Mary's Hospital. She was instructed by Dane County dispatchers to seek help and shelter at the hospital until authorities arrived.

In related news, a hotel manager in Racine, Wisconsin, was charged with battery and two counts of sexual assault this week after allegedly sexually assaulting a fellow employee, TMJ4 reported.

The alleged victim, a Racine woman who has requested to remain anonymous, began working as a front desk agent at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Racine in July 2020. While working at Delta Marriott, she met and became friends with Rogieross Calma, 33, a manager of the hotel who also lived at the hotel.

The woman claimed that in April 2021, Calma allegedly tried to force himself on her after offering her marijuana, which impaired her judgment, according to court documents.

She later confronted Calma about the unwanted encounters, and he allegedly apologized and admitted that the physical contact was unwanted by the woman.

In early May 2021, prosecutors said the woman went to Calma's room to pick up an item he offered to iron for her. While there, Calma allegedly tried to force himself on her again. She pushed his hand away, and Calma then allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Three days after the sexual assault, the woman decided to press charges against Calma. With the help of the Racine Police Department, she got Calma to admit on a recorded phone call to hearing her say no countless times while he was violating her, the complaint said. Calma was arrested the next day.

Calma's case is currently pending, and his next court date will be in late March 2023.
