It was a big night for ABC's Modern Family at the 2011 Emmy Awards. The show won all major awards including best comedy, best directing, best writing and best supporting actor and actress in a comedy.

In a night full of surprises, two of the biggest came in the lead actor in a drama and lead actress in a comedy categories.

Kyle Chandler upset favorite Jon Hamm to win the Emmy for lead actor in a drama for his role as a Texas football coach in cult favorite Friday Night Lights.

Melissa McCarthy also surprised with a win for her role in Mike & Molly.
