2012 Greenbrier Classic Golf: Free Live Stream, Leaderboard, Where-to-Watch, Preview and Prediction for Friday's Action
The second round of the 2012 Greenbrier Classic is underway from The Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Vijay Singh jummped out to the early lead on Thursday, posting a (-7) round that gave him a one shot edge over the field.
Singh has not won a tournament since the 2008 Deutsche Bank Championship, and the past several years of his career have been slowed by nagging injuries. But Singh looked like his old self on Monday when he drained birdies on six of the last eight holes of his round.
Jonathan Bird, Jeff Maggert, and Martin Flores are all one shot back of Singh after posting (-6) yesterday. US Open champion Webb Simpson is also in the hunt at (-5).
Tiger Woods posted his tour-leading third win of the season last week at the AT&T National last week and many observers were predicting that he had returned to his full prowess. But a (+1) first round has left him eight shots off the lead with tied for 95th place.
