The iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) announced the winners of its seventh annual contest for Photographers of the Year and 17 category competitions this week.
Winning entries in this year’s competition were submitted by 54 iPhone photographers from 17 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Spain Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States.
In addition to competing for Photographer of the Year award, entrants to the contest also competed in 17 categories, including animals, architecture, children, flowers, food, landscape, lifestyle, nature, news/events, others, people, seasons, still life, sunset, travel and trees.
According to the iPhone Photography Awards, winners of the Photographers of the Year competition will receive a 16GB Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad Air. Winners of the individual category competition will be awarded a gold bar from a private gold mint.
The iPhone Photography Awards started in 2007, making it the first and longest-running iPhone photography competition.
