The leading ladies of BBC’s show “Poldark,” Eleanor Tomlinson and Heida Reed, turned heads as they graced the red carpet at the TV BAFTA Awards 2015 at the Theatre Royal on London’s Drury Lane on Sunday. They left their period costumes for contemporary outfits for the awards night. Joining them as the red carpet best-dressed were other big names from the world of British television including Rochelle Humes and Keeley Hawes, according to Express UK.

Eleanor, 22, who plays the fiery beauty Demelza and Poldark’s wife in "Poldark," opted for a white, feathery floor-length dress, which showed off a hint of cleavage and her tiny frame. The stunning redhead wore her hair up in a chic bun and carried a glittery clutch bag as she smiled for the cameras. She accessorized her look with a pair of earrings and a bracelet.

Meanwhile, her co-star, Heida, opted for a long, strapless pale pink gown, keeping things sleek. Her minimalist look consisted of her brunette tresses styled into loose waves; she wore pink lipstick and matching blush and had smoky eyes. Reed accessorized her look with small rings and delicate bracelets. The actress portrays Poldark’s former fiancée, Elizabeth. “Poldark” ended on April 26 and was watched by a staggering 5.9 million viewers.

Meanwhile, the “Saturdays” star Rochelle Humes wore a daring Zeynep Kartal frock. She flashed her toned legs in her sheer black floor-grazing number. Humes paired her ensemble with matching high-heel sandals and added bracelets and small box clutch. Her long tresses were kept center-parted and loose over her shoulders.

Lead actress nominee Keeley Hawes from “Line of Duty” wore an all-black sheer ensemble that displayed an element of reserved chic. The outfit consisted of two pieces, a sheer top and full skirt. “It’s a good one actually. You can breathe in and out, it’s very nice and comfortable,” she said.

Black, sheer, sexy gowns with lace, and feathers were the order of the evening, with the likes of Pixie Lott and Tess Daly stepping out in revealing black gowns. Jennifer Metcalfe’s one-shoulder gown in black lace featured a long sleeve. It showed off her toned legs and arms.
