The 2020 Oscars have arrived, which means some of the biggest names in film will be recognized for their talents. Although the broadcast of the ceremony means award season is coming to a close, it will surely be a night of unforgettable moments.

Before the big event airs on television, here are some things you should know about the annual ABC program.

When Are The 2020 Oscars?

The 92nd annual Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. EST at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.

Who Is Hosting?

The 2020 Oscars will once again have no host. In 2019, the ceremony went without a host after Kevin Hart was booted from the position over past homophobic tweets.

Is It Pre-Recorded?

Can I Stream It?

Fans who can’t access the ceremony through television can live stream the awards show on ABC. com or download the ABC app and select “live TV.” However, viewers will be required to sign in with a participating TV provider.

Those who want to get in on the red carpet action can access the Oscars All Access: Red Carpet Live via Twitter @TheAcademy. ­The red carpet extravaganza kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST and wraps up ahead of the Oscars.

Who’s Performing?

A majority of the performances of the night will come from the nominees in the Best Original Song category. This year’s list of performers includes Elton John, who will sing “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from “Rocketman,” Idina Menzel and Aurora will perform “Into The Unknown” from “Frozen 2,” Cynthia Erivo, who will sing “Stand Up” from “Harriet,” Randy Newman, who will perform the “Toy Story 4” ballad “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away,” and Chrissy Metz, who will sing “I’m Standing With You” from “Breakthrough.”

Although Billie Eilish and Janelle Monáe are not nominated in the category, the singers will hit the stage on Sunday night for special performances.
