350,000 Alien Hunters To Raid Area 51, Steal Captive Aliens And UFO Secrets
Over 350,000 individuals have signed on to storm the classified military base Area 51 during an event in September. According to the organizers of the event, the main objective will be to take over the base to free the aliens being held captive there.
The event was organized via Facebook and was named “Storm Area 51: They Can’t Stop All Of Us.” As of this writing, 352,000 individuals noted that they will be attending while another 370,000 people said that they are interested in the event. It will take place on Sept. 20 and will begin at 3:00 am PDT.
Based on the name of the page and its number of attendees, the Facebook event is hoping to rely on the sheer volume of individuals to successfully raid Area 51, which is heavily guarded by armed military personnel.
Although signs around the base state that the guards are prepared to use deadly force against trespassers, those who will illegally enter or approach the area will most likely be slapped with a hefty fine.
Back in 2014, a tour bus accidentally entered the boundary of Area 51. All of the passengers were given a fine of $650 each and a misdemeanor conviction.
The Facebook event, of course, is just a joke and the organizers really have no intention of attacking Area 51. It was made by another page that posts memes and a Facebook user who streams Twitch gaming videos.
As indicated in the comments section of the event, the would-be attendees are just having fun with the notion of raiding Area 51. One Facebook user even came up with a plan of deploying a squad of amped up Kyles to take on the first wave of guards. This was based on the meme about people named Kyle who are stereotypically aggressive.
Area 51 gained popularity following the UFO incident in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. According to conspiracy theorists, military personnel took the UFO that crashed in the area and stored it in Area 51 to be studied.
Although it is not yet clear what really goes on inside the base, many believe it is a testing facility for experimental aircraft and weapon systems.
