4 Hard-To-Ignore Rumors About ‘The Bachelor’ Winner Cassie Randolph
Rumor has it that during Tuesday night’s “The Bachelor” finale, Colton Underwood will end his journey to find love by choosing contestant Cassie Randolph, despite her leaving the competition a few episodes prior. While Colton and Cassie are reportedly happily dating, that doesn’t take away from several rumors that surround the speculated “Bachelor” 2019 winner.
Here are four rumors about Cassie that have surfaced in recent weeks.
Her Other TV Show (And Her Ex)
There was a lot of buzz surrounding Cassie last month when it was revealed that she had shot another reality show, “Young Once,” just weeks before filming “The Bachelor.” A big problem was due to the fact that she filmed the series alongside her longtime former boyfriend, Caelan Tiongson. An even bigger problem was that Cassie’s storyline on the show focused on her on-again, off-again relationship with her ex.
Cassie has since spoken out about the controversy, saying that the "timing of everything was completely chance" and that she stills cares "very much about Caelan."
There For The Wrong Reasons
After it came to light that Cassie had just wrapped another reality show with her ex before meeting Colton, some fans questioned if she was on “The Bachelor” for “the right reasons.”
Reality Steve, a known “Bachelor” blogger, sounded off on the controversy, writing, “Does this make Cassie the worst human being alive? Certainly not. Is she a horrible person? No, not at all. Should she be burned at the stake? Well, no. But don’t tell me this isn’t somewhat shady.”
“Bachelorette” Plans
During Season 23 of “The Bachelor” a big storyline involved an allegation that Cassie and fellow contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes were overheard discussing plans to be the next “Bachelorette.” Caelynn denied stating such claims during the women tell-all special earlier this month.
Seeking Fame, Not Love
In February, one of Cassie’s “Young Once” co-stars, Tony Walsh, told Life & Style Magazine that she likely went on “The Bachelor” for media exposure. An unidentified source added that she only went on the ABC show “to boost her career and get famous.” So much for finding love.
Catch the second half of “The Bachelor” 2019 finale on Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
