The celebration of 420 has finally arrived! Ganja, hash, cannabis, weed, pot or whatever you choose to call it, is a plant that is special to some people for certain reasons. For those individuals, Saturday, April 20, 2019, represents 24 hours that are dedicated to praising the existence of marijuana.

There are several ways to celebrate 420, but staying in and watching marijuana-themed movies seems like a great option. Below are a few movies that are available to stream on Netflix.

“Pineapple Express” (2008) - After a stoner witnesses a murder, he goes on the run with the drug dealer who sold him the weed.

“Mac & Devin Go To High School” (2012) - The comedy follows a smart high school student who tries to help a drug dealer graduate.

“Observe And Report” (2009) - When a flasher begins targeting shoppers, a mall cop faces off against the police to apprehend the menace.

“The Interview” (2014) - The hilarious film follows a television producer and anchor, who travel to North Korea to interview Kim Jong Un.

“21 & Over” (2013) - Jeff has an important medical interview scheduled, but when his friends take him out for a wild night of partying, his future is put in jeopardy.

“Scary Movie 2” (2001) - The film parodies the plots of popular haunted house movies like “The Exorcist,” “Poltergeist” and “The Amityville Horror.”

“Ripped” (2017) - After waking up from a 30-year coma, two stoners can’t seem to move on from their lives as teenagers.

“Malibu’s Most Wanted” (2003) - A wealthy politician hires two actors to scare his son out of his love of rap music.

“That ‘70s Show” - For those who prefer to celebrate the 420 with a TV show instead of a movie marathon, consider taking a trip back to the 1970s. The series follows the lives of Eric Forman and his friends, who find a subtle way to show their appreciation for marijuana in just about every episode.
