On Saturday night, "48 Hours" will take a closer look at the circumstances surrounding Jason Corbett's death and the conflicting stories regarding what took place that night.

Corbett, who was an Irish businessman, initially hired an au-pair to assist him with his children. Eventually, after working together for some time, the two got married and relocated to America. However, following the move, tensions reportedly grew between both Jason and his then-wife, Molly Martens Corbett.

Following his death, conflicting accounts then emerged as to what happened on the night that he died, as some believe Molly was defending herself and others say that Jason was murdered.

Since his death, Jason's family members have continued to work to clear his name.

In a sneak peek posted to CBS News, Jason's big sister discusses the unhappiness that her brother had revealed prior to his death, along with his concern about his wife's behavior.

"Jason started to talk about moving home," she told host Maureen Maher. She then added that he had confided in her that Molly had been "acting strange." This narrative was then countered by one of Molly's family members, who said he had instead seen Jason be the aggressor.

Ultimately, a 911 call was made where Tom Martens, Molly's father, stated that he had intervened in a fight and that Jason was, as a result, "in bad shape."

However, Jason's sister believes the entire scene was staged and the entire story that was conveyed to the cops by Molly and Tom was entirely a lie.

On Saturday night, viewers will get a closer look at both sides in order to form their own opinions about what transpired. Additionally, Maher also replied to a "48 Hours" fan and said that Saturday's episode will include "an important update" on the case.

This episode of "48 Hours" will air Saturday night at 9 p.m. on CBS.
