George Clooney Planned A Romantic Getaway For Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston

In July, Life & Style, published a report claiming Clooney and his wife spent a weekend in Rome with Pitt and Aniston. The tabloid suggested the getaway was the 58-year-old’s attempt to play matchmaker.

“George wants to see one of his best friends, Brad Pitt, happy again. And that means one thing: Jennifer Aniston,” an alleged source told the outlet.

The supposed insider went on to claim that Pitt and Aniston were able to have a romantic vacation. “Brad and Jen stayed at a very private villa in Rome. George organized it all, saying he was booking it for his parents so there would be no prying eyes. It was very romantic thanks in no small part to a staff, whose number one priority was discretion,” the source continued.

Despite the report, Aniston and Pitt were not seen spending time together in Italy over the summer.

According to The Globe, the pair “secretly eloped” after the 50-year-old’s private flight to Mexico made an emergency landing. Once the actress landed safely, a source told the outlet that the actors were “getting hitched again in Mexico in a hush-hush ceremony that’s driving Angelina Jolie into a jealous fury.”

“She realized that life’s short, and she could have easily died in a plane crash. Jen knew then that she had to follow her heart and remarry Brad,” the supposed confidant revealed.

Despite the report about a secret ceremony, Aniston and Pitt are still married to their estranged spouses.

After reports began to surface that Pitt was dating Theron, the National Enquirer claimed Aniston began texting the “Bombshell” star to confirm whether the rumors were true. “She was clearly fishing for info, but Charlize is a smart girl and was wise to what she was up to,” an alleged source told the tabloid.

“She gave her short and swift back saying ‘Why are you texting me about him?’ Then it all blew up big time.”

Although the reports suggested Theron made Pitt block Aniston’s number, the former spouses are still in contact with one another.
