Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, Liverpool FC’s Roberto Firmino and Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku are among the stars in the Premier League who are currently injured.

With the two-week international break underway, the clubs are hoping to have their players back in action when the league resumes on Nov. 20.

With 26 points, Chelsea are at the top of the 2021-22 Premier League table, three points clear of second and third-placed Manchester City and West Ham. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are placed fourth with 22 points and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal complete the current top five of the English top-flight.

Here is the list of five Premier League stars that have been forced to miss their respective international breaks due to their various injuries:

The Liverpool No. 9 limped off the field after sustaining a hamstring injury during the Reds’ 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League earlier this month. Klopp has said that the injury is serious and Firmino is not expected to return immediately after the international break.

Paul Pogba (Manchester United)

The Manchester United midfielder injured his right thigh while training for France in the ongoing international break. Even Pogba has suffered a hamstring injury and will be out until Dec. 31. The Red Devils expect to have the midfielder back for their January 2022 games.

Lukaku suffered an ankle injury during Chelsea's 4-0 Champions League win over Malmo on Oct. 20. In the same game, Werner also pulled up with a hamstring issue. Both the players have not returned for Chelsea yet but head coach Thomas Tuchel recently insisted that the duo has been given a target of returning after the international break.
