5 Signs Luke P. Will Go Far On ‘The Bachelorette’ Based Off The Season 15 Premiere
Watching the trailer for Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette” it makes it appear as if contestant Luke Parker (or Luke P.) is this installment’s villain. Watching the ABC premiere, however, it is quickly clear that he’s also a big contender for Hannah’s heart.
Here are five signs from the premiere episode that Luke P. will be sticking it out for the long haul on this season of “The Bachelorette”:
1. His Introduction
Luke P. wasn’t introduced first like last year’s winner, but he was showcased in the first group of contestants during the premiere. After revealing to the cameras that he used to take advantage of girls, he shared that he changed his plans after finding religion and is now working towards being the husband he wants to be for his “future wife.”
“Hannah B. is obviously gorgeous. We share a lot of the same values. I’m so ready to get to know Hannah and I’m ready to see if I’m the one,” he said.

2. His (Second) Meeting With Hannah
Hannah already met Luke P. during “The Bachelor” finale special, something he mentioned during the episode, so he went big during his re-introduction to her outside the Bachelor mansion. In his scene, Luke P. paid tribute to Hannah’s alter ego, Hannah Beast, and climbed on top of the limo and growled.
“So I know they call you the beast, but I’m kind of the jungle,” he said to her. “I’m hoping that we can change your title to my queen.”
3. First One-On-One Time
Hannah hasn’t had her first one-on-one date this season just yet, but Luke P. was the first get solo time with the Bachelorette on night one. After her toast to all of the men, he made the first move in asking her to chat privately. They held hands as they discussed him becoming an uncle and how he feels “behind” in life because he doesn’t have a girlfriend. Luke P. also said he was interested in Hannah from episode 1 of Colton’s “The Bachelor” season.
“I’m seriously really, really interested in you,” he said. “You have some catching up to do.”
4. Post-Scott A. Elimination
Fresh after kicking out Scott A. after learning he had a girlfriend back at home, Hannah stepped away from the rest of the remaining men for a breather. After a beat, the men commented that it might be a good time for someone to comfort her, which is just what Luke P. did. Luke told Hannah that he wanted to encourage her and that it hurt him to see her upset. He added that he wasn’t there to win roses, he was there to win her heart, which she appreciated.
5. First Impression Rose
Of course, Luke P. was the recipient of Hannah’s first impression rose. She made her feelings for Luke P. clear when gifting the rose to him and said that she wanted to get to know him better. “I really like you,” she said.
“This seriously means the world to me,” he responded before they shared their first kiss.
“Before I met Hannah, I knew that there was going to be something strong between us,” Luke went on to tell the cameras. “After tonight, I can already see myself falling madly in love with her and spending the rest of my life with this girl.”
