5 Signs That Your Partner Is Cheating On You

Most individuals who have been cheated on in relationships say that there were signs of their partner being unfaithful to them in the hindsight, but they chose to ignore it. And if at all they tried to confront their cheating partners, they would do such a great job of lying and manipulating and even make them think it’s their own paranoia or insecurity that had led to the suspect.

Infidelity in relationships can be horrible and unacceptable. Infidelity and being unfaithful (by lying and deceiving) go hand in hand and thus, even if you think you suspect something, it can be hard to find out the truth.

You don’t need a lie detector to find out if your partner is lying about being unfaithful. Look out for the following signs to tell if your partner is cheating on you:

1. The way they use their phones- The first and most obvious sign can be their mobile phone usage. You might notice an increase in the number of phone calls or messages they exchange. And their behavior pertaining to mobile use like talking in private appears flushed and more importantly, gets evasive if you question him/her about who had called them. And if you find your partner attached to his/her phone than they were previously and if you see them carry it wherever they go, this could definitely mean that something is going on!

2. They cannot look at you in the eye- One easiest way to tell if someone is lying is to find out if they are looking at you in the eye while speaking. Sometimes, a cheating partner might also lie directly to your face and might also look acceptable. In such cases, trust your gut instincts and try asking direct questions and feel the difference when you feel they aren’t lying.

3. Doesn’t spend much time with you- If you feel that your partner enjoys spending time with their friends or at the gym a lot more than they used to, it can mean something. Watch your partner carefully to find out if he/she is trying to avoid you or if they are trying to look more attractive.

4. Avoids physical intimacy- There might be changes in sexual intimacy between the two of you. While some people might avoid it completely (because their needs might be met somewhere else) whereas some people who are unfaithful tend to behave differently during moments when you share physical intimacy like getting more adventurous, etc. They might also not exhibit the same amount of affection they used to, earlier. Watch out if your sex life is affected, it can indicate infidelity.

5. Constantly being in an uncomfortable & irritated mood- Living a life of deception which involves betraying someone and constantly lying can make people quite uncomfortable. This might show up in their behaviors. Watch out for mood swings, irritability, and defensiveness. They can also get hostile when you show more affection towards them.

Although none of the above-mentioned signs are sure signs of infidelity by themselves, when you start finding any of these, it will probably make you more vigilant to find out if your partner is involved with someone else.
