Melania Trump's former aide Stephanie Grisham is opening up about her time with the former first lady in her memoir, "I'll Take Your Questions Now."

Grisham worked in various roles as a senior aide to President Donald Trump and his wife. She served as both chief of staff and press secretary for Melania from 2020 to 2021 and previously as her press secretary from 2017 to 2019. She was a press aide to the former POTUS' 2016 presidential campaign, and then a member of the presidential transition team.

In her new book, set to be released Tuesday, Grisham made several claims about Melania, her marriage to the former president, her relationship with Ivanka Trump and more.

Here are some of the revelations the former aide made about Melania, according to CNN, which obtained an early copy of "I'll Take Your Questions Now."

1. Melania allegedly obsessively read her own press

Like her husband, Melania loves reading every little thing written about her, and does so frequently, Grisham claimed in her memoir.

"Like her husband and all of his kids, Mrs. Trump scrutinized her press clippings like an expert architect focusing on blueprints," Grisham wrote. "No detail was overlooked, nothing missed her eye. She had Google alerts set up for herself and saw everything."

2. Melania called Ivanka Trump "the Princess"

Grisham claimed there had been tension between Melania and Ivanka, the two most important women in Donald Trump's life, due to his daughter's desire to be in the spotlight at public events and on foreign trips.

The former aide claimed to have been told by Melania that she liked to call Ivanka "the Princess" behind her back. Grisham in turn told the former first lady that White House staffers called Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, "the interns."

According to Grisham, Melania would get upset with Ivanka during overseas trips because the former first lady wanted to abide by traditions in each country that were reserved only for a president and a first spouse — not a president's daughter and her husband.

In one instance, Ivanka allegedly wanted to join Donald and Melania's visit to Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, according to Grisham, but the former FLOTUS put her foot down and insisted that Ivanka and Kushner not be in the spotlight.

3. Melania was given the nickname "Rapunzel" by Secret Service

Grisham claimed that the Secret Service gave Melania the nickname "Rapunzel" "because she remained in her tower, never descending."

The former aide recalled seeing Melania in the office suite designated to the first lady only "a handful of times" during the four years she worked in the White House. Instead, the ex-FLOTUS would usually be found in the executive residence, Grisham wrote.

According to the book, Melania also spent "hours and hours" working on and organizing photo albums filled with "hundreds, if not thousands," of pictures of her time in the White House.

4. Melania considers relaxation "central" to her beauty regimen

Melania reportedly spent a lot of time on "self-care," which included many hours of sleep. Usually, the East Wing staff would not hear from the former first lady until 10 a.m., according to Grisham.

"She believed that relaxation was central to one's beauty regimen, as were, of course, spa treatments and facials," she wrote.

5. Melania was upset about her husband's affairs

Melania had been angry about her husband's alleged affairs with porn actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen MacDougal and didn't want to save the former president from damaging headlines, according to Grisham.

"I felt that Mrs. Trump was embarrassed and that she wanted him to feel embarrassed, too. Whether he is capable of that or not, I don't know," Grisham wrote.

The former aide continued, "I received a call from her to let me know that she wanted to drive to Air Force One ahead of her husband. She surprised me, saying 'I do not want to be like Hillary Clinton, do you understand what I mean? She walked to Marine One holding the hands with her husband after Monica news and it did not look good,' referring to Monica Lewinsky. I didn't argue."

Melania's office has not yet commented on Grisham's book. Her husband's spokeswoman, Liz Harrington, told CNN, "This book is another pitiful attempt to cash in on the President's strength and sell lies about the Trump family."
