50 Cent Responds To Chris Brown’s Arrest On Instagram After Baylee Curran Accused Him Of Gun Assault
Rapper 50 Cent came to Chris Brown’s defense Wednesday after the Grammy award-winning singer was accused of pulling a gun on his guest, Baylee Curran. 50 Cent turned to Instagram to support the “Loyal” singer.
In the first post, “Fitty” shared a black-and-white picture of Brown looking melancholy. “I have a different relationship with Chris. That's my boy. I watched him come up. A lot of the shit he [goes] through is crazy to me,” the “Candy Shop” star said. “If you’re not safe at home, when do you get a break? If someone calls 911 and says you pulled a gun on them in your house, are the police coming to create a bunker at the end of your drive way for 11 hours to wait for a search warrant? Then live stream it? This must be VIP Treatment. [Shaking my head].” The post garnered more than 84,000 likes from his million followers.
In the second picture, he posted a screenshot from a TMZ article about Curran, who is a grand larceny suspect. “This B---- was trying to steal something, got kicked out, then called the cops,” he wrote about Curran possibly trying to steal something from Brown. “[Shaking my head], you can’t make this s--- up. Lol.”
In truth, Curran doesn’t have a squeaky clean past. She was crowned Miss California Regional 2016, but was stripped of her beauty pageant crown because nude photos of her surfaced and she didn’t show up to community functions, TMZ reported Wednesday. She refused to return the crown.
She is also accused of steal a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from New York’s Plaza Hotel in 2013, TMZ wrote in a different report Wednesday. Inside was $200 in cash, a Michael Kors wallet and credit cards. She reportedly dropped the bag but kept the contents.
Curran’s rep told TMZ she was unware of the charge and is innocent. Brown maintains his innocence in the charges against him.
