6 Moments You Missed On 'DOOL,' 'B&B,'& 'Y&R' This Week
Temperatures may be starting to fall outside, but in the world of soap operas the opposite is definitely happening when it comes to the drama and the mayhem taking place on "Days of Our Lives," "The Young and the Restless," and "The Bold and the Beautiful."
As the shows gear up for the highly anticipated November Sweeps, the storylines are only getting juicier and more intense. In case you missed a minute of the jaw-dropping drama, exposed secrets, or devious plots, here are the six biggest moments that happened this week:
"Days Of Our Lives" (NBC)
Ben Crashes The Wedding With A Massive Bombshell
By far the biggest moment on "Days of Our Lives" this week came with the unexpected return of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), who managed to escape from Bayview and show up at the church to interrupt Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean) as the couples were preparing to wed. However, this time around, he wasn't there to see Abigail and mess with her, as his focus was on telling Sonny that Will (Chandler Massey) was actually alive—even though Ben was previously convicted of murdering him during his spree as the Red Necktie Killer. Since then, Ben is in custody, Chad and Abigail have married, and Sonny and Paul are putting things on pause. The race is on to find out if Ben is telling the truth—or if he's simply still crazy.
Abe Announces A New Police Commissioner
Even though Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) were both up for the police commissioner's position, the time came for Abe (James Reynolds) to officially announce one of them as the new head of the police force. After weighing his options, he settled on Hope. While it so far hasn't led to any problems for the couple, only time will tell what could happen because of the decision.
"The Young And The Restless" (CBS)
Crystal Is Rescued
After a long hunt to track her down and find her, Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) was finally rescued from the sex ring and reunited with her sister, Tessa (Cair Fairbanks), thanks to a joint effort between Tessa, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Sharon (Sharon Case) to get Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) to agree to it. The reunion wasn't able to last long because Crystal needed to be placed into Witness Protection, but it also didn't end well for Alice. Her decision to let Crystal go ended with her getting hit by a car and ending up in the hospital—where she has since disappeared from.
Phyllis Learns The Truth About Billy
She has been blissfully unaware that her boyfriend has been using her computer behind her back to commit corporate espionage, but now, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is no longer in the dark about Billy's (Jason Thompson) actions. After once again discussing him with Jack (Peter Bergman), her ex finally had enough and told her that Billy was the one behind Jabot's security breach and that he had used her computer to do it. What she'll do with that information is currently unclear, though it's sure to mean bad news for Billy.
"The Bold And The Beautiful" (CBS)
Katie And Wyatt Are Exposed
They've been keeping their affair a secret since Monte Carlo, but Katie (Heather Tom) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) were finally forced to come clean to someone very important this week after he walked in on them during a passionate make out session. Eric (John McCook) earned about them after Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) saw them together at Il Giardino, and had the power to expose them since he is married to Wyatt's mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer). For now however, he is keeping the couple's secret for them.
Bill Considers Seducing Steffy
He wants revenge on Liam (Scott Clifton) for everything he's done to him, and now, Bill (Don Diamont) may be formulating his plan that will definitely put his son in his place. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has shown her fahter-in-law endless support since Liam ousted him from Spencer, and Bill flashed back to the time the two of them were somewhat romantically involved. Now, he may be considering going down that route again if it teaches Liam a lesson about messing with him.
