6-Year-Old Brutally Sodomized, Stones Stuffed In Rectum While Playing Outside His House

A 6-year-old boy in India has been brutally sodomized by an unidentified suspect while the child was playing outside his house.

The horrific incident happened in Vijayawada, a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The child who was playing outside his house Sunday evening was reportedly lured by an unknown suspect on the pretext of getting the boy some snacks. The man then took the boy into an isolated field where he pinned him down and allegedly sodomized him. The perpetrator inserted stones and chilies into the boy's rectum and the boy fainted during the brutal assault, The Times of India reported.

The boy later regained consciousness walked back home. His parents came to know about the assault when they noticed blood oozing out of his anus while giving the child a bath.

Based on the parent's complaint, the police have registered a case Monday and have started an investigation, news outlet Latest LY reported.

According to statistics, a child under 16 years of age is raped in India, every 155 minutes. Surveys have shown that 90% of people sexually exploiting children are known to the children or are people whom the children trust. Around 53% of Indian children have reported experiencing different kinds of abuse, including forced nude photography, assault, inappropriate touching and sexual abuse.

In July, a 6-year-old boy in India was reportedly kidnapped and sodomized by four juveniles while the boy was playing outside his house. The four young boys, all aged between 10-14, from a village in Sambhal district in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh took the boy to a deserted place where he was allegedly assaulted. The child was shocked by the assault and could talk to his parents about his horrific ordeal only after a lot of persuasions. The police registered a case against the four suspects on counts of criminal intimidation, unnatural offenses and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace. The identities of the suspects and the victim was not revealed due to their juvenile status.
