‘90 Day Fiancé’ Cast Update: Ashley Accuses Jay Of Delaying Divorce

“90 Day Fiancé” stars Ashley Martson and Jay Smith may have split, but their divorce will not be finalized anytime soon due to paperwork issues.

Viewers, who tuned into “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” Season 4, episode 6 on Sunday night saw Ashley attempt to make up her mind about her future with Jay. Although she revealed she still loves her husband, Ashley admitted she couldn’t trust him.

Following the episode, Ashley shared several posts on her Instagram Story, where she revealed Jay has been dragging out their divorce proceedings. During a Q&A session with fans, one viewer asked when Ashley and Jay’s divorce would be final?

“2 years because someone won’t sign the paperwork,” Ashley replied.

Ashley went on to reveal Jay has moved out of her home and into his own apartment. In a previous episode, Ashley reached out to the girl Jay cheated with to get a better understanding of the situation. When a fan asked Ashley if the mystery woman responded, the TLC star revealed the female sent a late reply.

“No, but she did today. She was not thrilled they showed her photo on the show and I couldn’t agree more. She didn’t know he was married. She was innocent in the situation,” Ashley stated.

Ashley initially filed for divorce from Jay in January but withdrew the paperwork after nine days. In April, the TLC star filed for divorce a second time, and appears to be following through with the split.

Last week, Ashley told fans she had “no regrets” about ending her marriage with Jay, who “humiliated” her on television.
