‘90 Day Fiancé’ Cast Update: Jorge Claims Anfisa Wanted To Get Rid Of Him
Although “90 Day Fiancé” star Jorge Nava was heartbroken over his split with Anfisa Arkhipchenko, he is looking forward to getting released from prison and getting a divorce from his wife.
Jorge, who is serving a two and a half-year sentence following his arrest for marijuana possession in 2018, is expected to be released from Arizona State Complex in 25 days. However, when he becomes a free man, he won’t be receiving a warm welcome for Anfisa.
On Monday, Jorge appeared on an episode of “90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined.” During his interview, he opened up about his relationship with Anfisa. “Probably about two months after I was in prison, she basically told me that she couldn’t be with me anymore,” Jorge explained.
“She wishes I got 12 years in prison, basically trying to get rid of me. We still talked on the phone. I tried to work on the relationship no matter what. I tried.”
When Jorge initially went to prison, Anfisa had viewers questioning whether the couple was still together. However, fans realized Anfisa was dating someone new when she shared a now-deleted photo Instagram photo with a mystery man.
“I ended up finding out through the internet that she was with somebody else. That definitely hurt. It really broke my heart,” he said.
“The last time I spoke with Anfisa, she asked me if I knew already that she was with somebody else. I told her I did know and as soon as I get released from prison, I’m going to file for divorce. At least now, I’m stronger mentally. I’m stronger emotionally. I’ve gone through a lot of changes here in prison.”
Following Jorge’s failed marriage with Anfisa, he has no plans to jumping into a new relationship once he gets out of prison.
“I feel like love is the least of my priority list because I just have to get my life together and make sure I’m good as a person before I’m able to give somebody else something,” he said
“90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined” airs on TLC Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
