‘90 Day Fiancé’ Where Are They Now: Nicole Explains Why She Can’t Marry Azan

When “90 Day Fiancé” viewers last saw Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou, the couple appeared to be on good terms. Although she canceled her trip to visit her fiancé in Morocco, Nicole insisted the two were still in a committed relationship.

Since she began appearing on the TLC series, Nicole has felt the need to defend her relationship with Azan against naysayers, who believe he is using her for money. While Nicole has slammed those who accused Azan of not truly caring about her, she recently shared an update about their romance.

Earlier this week, Nicole announced she has no plans to marry Azan. According to In Touch, the Florida resident revealed details about her relationship on Instagram.

The announcement comes after a viewer dismissed her future with Azan and attempted to reprimand her over the way she treated her family on camera.

“A few things. One, don’t act like you know my life. You do not. No matter what you think, you don’t know me. Family has always been everything to me,” she explained.

“Two, my family knows everything. From the beginning and all through filming for a show, they know everything. Not everything is put out on the show because it doesn’t need to be publicly known.”

Nicole claimed she had no reason to lie to anyone about her romance, but should be respected when she chooses to keep certain details private.

“Three, if you want me to be honest, then listen when I’m telling it and not when it’s what ya’ll think is the truth. Azan and I are still together happily,” she told the “90 Day Fiancé” viewer.

However, after nearly four years together, Nicole revealed the two aren’t ready for marriage.

“We don’t have plans to get married officially at this moment because I’m doing my life here with May right now, and he’s working, doing his life there right now. That doesn’t mean we won’t, it means we’ll do it when the time is right for us,” she stated

Nicole has not shared whether she and Azan have been cast in another spinoff of the TLC franchise. The couple last appeared on “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” Season 4.
