KEY POINTS

  • Aaron Rodgers is 7th Highest Paid Athlete in 2019
  • He became a minority owner of Milwaukee Bucks last year
  • The former NFL MVP recently signed a 4-year, $134 million deal

Aaron Rodgers’s net worth is at $120 million. Even with his age, he still dishes out fine plays. When all is said and done, Rodgers will be in the talks of the greatest to ever do it.

A big part of Rodgers’s income comes from his salary. In 2019, he earned at least $80 million, including won games bonus. This makes him 7th in the World's Highest-Paid Athletes list. Only Russell Wilson raked in more as a football player.

His salary earnings was boosted after signing an extension of four years in August worth $134 million. In the deal, $103 million is guaranteed and if all plans push through, he is set to receive $180 million, including bonuses. Not bad for a 36-year-old quarterback who many have thought was already washed up years ago.

Rodgers is also busy off the field making savvy business ventures. Last year, he became a minority owner of NBA team Milwaukee Bucks. With the Bucks expected to be title contenders this season, expect the team’s value to skyrocket soon. The seven-time Pro Bowler also made a $50 million investment with Roth Capital in 2019.

Aside from investments, the two-time MVP also makes the perfect ambassador of different brands because of his likeable personality. Adidas, Bose, Panini, Prevea Healthcare and State Farm have been his primary backers for some time now. These endorsement deals gave him an extra $9 million income this year.

He also made a cameo in an episode of "Game of Thrones" in its last season. Not many NFL or superstar athlete can add that to their resume.

With massive income and popularity, the University of California, Berkeley alum knows how to reward himself. Included in his car fleet are Tesla, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford truck, Mustang and Mercedes Benz.

According to Bleacher Report, if Rodgers remains healthy and finishes his contract at 40 years old, he would have earned $315 million in his entire career. He holds the record for the fastest QB to reach 300 passing touchdowns. He has 338 in total and still counting.

The Green Bay Packers is one of the frontrunners for the Super Bowl this season. With 11-3 win-loss record, the team heads the NFC North teams under first-year coach Matt LaFleur.

The NFL star has set the bar high for the young QBs in the league. He is someone they can all learn from, from his business ventures to consistency on the field. A true living legend in every sense.
