Abby Lee Miller’s Former Co-Star Admits ‘I Hate Her’

Abby Lee Miller has long been critiqued for her controversial teaching techniques and now one of her former co-stars is speaking out. Gianna Newborg, who competed on Season 2 of Abby’s “Dance Moms” spinoff series “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” slammed the coach on her YouTube channel this week.

Gianna, who placed second on Season 2 of the competition program in 2013, started off her video by speaking about her experience getting cast and filming the competition series before shedding light on her thoughts about the now defunct show’s lead.

While Gianna said she got along with the majority of her young co-stars, she didn’t have kind things to say about the judge.

“If I’m being completely honest she is an evil bitch,” Gianna said in response to continuous questions she receives about whether Abby is as mean in real life as she is on TV. “If she likes you she is so nice to you but personally, she hated me, she hated my mother, so I kinda got the dump.”

“I’m so happy that women is in jail,” Gianna said ahead of Abby’s year-long prison sentence start date later this month on fraud charges. “I wish she could stay there forever,” she added.

Gianna said she received hate comments after speaking out about Abby’s prison sentence on Instagram with fans clamming the coach helped make her a better dancer, but she disagrees.

“The only thing Abby did for me was ruin the little bit of confidence that I had in myself and put me through a depression that lasted up until just about now,” she said. “That woman did nothing but break me down... She’s just a disgusting woman. She is just such a bad person.”

Gianna went on to claim that Abby was “extremely disrespectful” to both her and her mother Cindy during the show. “I wish that I could go on that show right now at this age because I would not take a single word that woman said,” she said.

She’s just not a nice woman. I mean, if you think about it, her job is to tear apart young girls and break them down as much as possible on national TV for money. That’s her job. Her job is to make people absolutely horrible for money.

While she didn’t care for Abby, the former reality star only had nice experiences with the girls from “Dance Moms.” Gianna got to work with Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler and Asia Monet Ray during production. “All three of them are sweet as anything. I don’t know what they’re like now, but way back then they were so sweet,” Gianna gushed.

After the show wrapped, Gianna claims she was invited to audition for “Dance Moms” but she refused in favor of living a normal life. “I was like, I just want to be a normal kid and that’s what I ended up doing... Keep me far away from that woman as possible. I just want to be a normal person. I want to live a normal life.”

“I hate Abby Lee. I hate her,” she continued. “I don’t hate many people on this planet, but I hate her.”
