Abby Manning Lives Normal Life with Super Bowl Star Eli, Daughter in Hoboken, NJ
Abby Manning might fly relatively under the radar, but at Sunday night's Super Bowl XVLI the camera panned right to her. The blonde beauty has been at Eli's side since the two met in college. Even though she is one of the most popular WAGs in professional sports, Abby Manning is down to earth and content with living a normal, low-key life.
Abby Manning, whose maiden name is McGrew, married college sweetheart Eli Manning in 2008 - the same year the Super Bowl quarterback clenched his first win against the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl. The two met at the University of Mississippi and wed in a small ceremony at One & Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, according to People.
Last year, Abby gave birth to her and Eli's first daughter Ava Frances. The adorable little cherub attended Super Bowl 2012 dressed in a purple dress. Eli rushed to his 10-month-old after the game, giving her the keys to a new black Corvette he received for his Super Bowl win.
The 27-year-old blonde beauty has been ogled as more and more people turn their focus to hers and Eli's relationship, but she maintains a low profile. During football season, the Mannings live in a $2 million condo in Hoboken, NJ, overlooking the Hudson. Take a look at photos of their condo in this Electronic House spread.
Hoboken residents have had nothing but wonderful things to say about Abby and Eli Manning. They are so kind, so nice, Susan Cohrs, an employee at Ganache Café in Hoboken, told CBS News. Supposedly, Eli's favorite meal at the café is the blueberry crumb muffin. Abby usually opts for a medium latte.
While dining at Madison Bar and Grill in Hoboken, the couple was waited on by Randy Morton. It was his first day on the job and he remembers it like it was yesterday.
She was very chatty. Eli kept to himself. He was polite and a good person, Morton said. I didn't want to mess up his food order. He got a salad and burger.
Another Hoboken resident commented on Abby's beauty. Really pretty. Baby is adorable, the source said.
Despite the fact that Abby Manning is not a red carpet regular, she uses her star power for good. She is a devoted philanthropist who dedicated her time to New York's St. Vincent's Hospital, where she and her husband gave a donation to build a new holistic birthing center. She also donates to their alma mater, University of Mississippi, according to ABC News.
Abby formerly worked as an account executive with wedding dress and evening wear designer Pamela Roland. During off-season the Manning live in Oxford, Mississippi.
