Premiering tonight on ABC, “Whiskey Cavalier” was created by David Hemingson and follows FBI agent Will Chase (codename: “Whiskey Cavalier”), his new partner, CIA agent Francesca “Frankie” Trowbridge (codename: “Fiery Tribune”), and their inter-agency team as they take on world-saving missions.

A sneak peek aired Sunday after the Oscars, but the official series premiere of “Whiskey Cavalier” airs tonight. Before you catch the show, which is executive produced by Hemingson, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold and Peter Atencio, get to know the cast of the comedy-drama a little bit better.

Scott Foley (FBI agent Will Chase)

Prior to starring as Jake Ballard in ABC’s “Scandal” from 2013 to 2018, Foley worked on shows like “True Blood,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Unit,” “Dawson’s Creek” and, of course, “Felicity.” Aside from acting on “Whiskey Cavalier,” he’s also a producer on the show.

Lauren Cohan (CIA agent Frankie Trowbridge)

From playing Bela on “Supernatural” toward the end of the 2000s to Rose on “The Vampire Diaries” starting in 2010 to Maggie Green on “The Walking Dead” from 2011 to 2018, Cohan’s been popping up on your TV screen for a little while now. She’s ready to continue to do so with her new ABC series regular role.

Josh Hopkins (FBI agent Ray Prince)

With shows like the fan-favorite “Ally McBeal,” the gone-too-soon “Pepper Dennis,” the much-loved “Cougar Town” and, most recently, the ABC FBI series “Quantico” under his belt, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Hopkins on TV before.

Ana Ortiz (FBI profiler Susan Sampson)

Ortiz made viewers laugh as Hilda Suarez on “Ugly Better” for four seasons, and now she’s going to do that some more with her character on ABC’s new comedy-drama. She also recently starred as Marisol Suarez on “Devious Maids” and as Dr. Mary Hernandez on “The Mindy Project.”

Tyler James Williams (NSA analyst Edgar Standish)

He made a name for himself playing the titular character on “Everybody Hates Chris” from 2005 to 2009, and then a few years later Williams starred in the Disney Channel movie, “Let It Shine,” with Coco Jones and Trevor Jackson. After that, he was in the “Dear White People” movie and shows like “Go On,” “The Walking Dead” and the short-lived “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.”

Vir Das (CIA agent Jai Datta)

Although this is Das’ first American TV show, the Indian actor has been working in film and TV since 2006. He’s also a comedian and has multiple comedy specials on Netflix.

Catch the “Whiskey Cavalier” cast on TV when the show airs on ABC on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
