Acer Nitro 5
The Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop is being offered in several configurations. The laptop can come with Intel’s 7th-generation Core i5 or i7 processors, which can go alongside the Nvidia GeForce GTC 1050 Ti GPU. There’s also an option for an AMD GPU, and customers will be able to choose from the A-Series FX, A12 and A10 APUs with up to a Radeon RX 550 GPU, according to Digital Trends.
“The Nitro 5 series provides a good balance of powerful features with a sharp and stylish design,” Acer said in its press release. “Acer is offering a variety of configurations that feature popular graphics and processors, providing consumers with a wide selection to meet different budgets and needs.”
All configurations of the Nitro 5 will come with Windows 10, and can be configured to come with 32GB of DDR4 2400 MHz RAM. Some models, depending on region, can come with up to 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. Customers also have the option of pairing that SSD with an additional HDD storage of up to 2TB.
Acer has also added its dual-fan Coolboost technology as the gaming laptop’s thermal solution. The company says that it will be able to deliver heightened fan speeds and cooling ability, and will also give users manual control over it when necessary.
The Nitro 5 comes with a 15.6-inch full HD 1080p IPS display, one USB Type-C port, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI 2.0 port, which Acer says can support up to 90 Hz refresh rates. Unfortunately, no information was given about the Nitro 5’s battery capacity.
The Acer Nitro 5 will be available in North America in July with a starting price of $799.

Acer Iconia Tab 10 and One 10
Acer also announces a pair of new Android tablets with the Iconia Tab 10 and Iconia One 10. Both come with 10-inch IPS displays, five magnet speakers with DTS-HD Premium Sound, quad-core MediaTek processors and Android 7.0 Nougat.
Although the two tablets share a lot in common, each are targeting specific crowds. The Iconia Tab 10 is the premium device from the two, and is intended for consuming media. This is why the Iconia Tab 10’s display comes with Quantum Dot technology, which provides a wider color range, higher brightness levels, better color accuracy and deeper saturation.

This means that users will be able to connect additional external storage and more accessories like a mouse and keyboard. It comes equipped with two microUSB ports, one of which comes with On-The-Go (OTG) support.
Acer didn’t give out details on pricing, availability and other specifications for the new Iconia tablets.
