ACM Awards 2013: List Of Winners And Pictures Of The Best And Worst Dressed On The Red Carpet [PHOTOS]
Country’s biggest stars gathered in Las Vegas on Sunday for the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Performances by Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and George Strait rocked the house at the MCM Grand Garden Arena. Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan served as co-hosts.
Some of the biggest winners of the night included Lambert, Eric Church, Jason Aldean and Bryan.
Lambert led the pack with three wins for Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Over You.” Her husband, Shelton, also walked away with the award for their duet Song of the Year.
Of course, glitz and glam were rampant on the red carpet before the awards ceremony. Swift, Caroline Bryan and Jana Kramer were head-to-toe in gold, while Shania Twain, Kaley Cuoco, Faith Hill and Lambert kept it simple in black. The gentlemen also came out dressed to the nines, with McGraw, Keith Urban and Aldean ditching their cowboy boots for formal attire.
The ACM Awards, not to be confused with the CMA Awards, were first held in 1966. For 2013, more than 1.1 million fans cast their votes for both Entertainer of the Year, which was awarded to Bryan, and New Artist of the Year, which went to Florida Georgia Line.
