Actress Farrah Fawcet dies after 3-year battle with cancer
Actress Farrah Fawcett, who appeared on the series Charlie's Angels died today at age 62 from cancer, People Magazine reported.
Fawcett died at 9:28 a.m. PST at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, the magazine said. She had anal cancer and was diagnosed with the illness only three years ago.
Fawcett's longtime partner Ryan O'Neal was with her at the time of her death.
She's now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much, O'Neal said according to People. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now.
The actress will be honored with a funeral service at a Catholic cathedral in Los Angeles over the next few days, according to the report.
Fawcett was born in Texas and married actor Lee Majors in 1973. In 1982 they divorced and she began a long relationship with O'Neal with whom she had a son, Redmond.
