American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert had some trouble in paradise Wednesday night when he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen got into a barroom brawl, resulting in arrest.

TMZ reported that Adam got thrown in jail in Finland overnight after fighting with his boyfriend outside a bar. Sauli Koskinen was a star on Finland's Big Brother.

The fight reportedly started inside the bar and then moved out onto the street. Lambert allegedly even started getting physical with the individuals who attempted to break up the brawl.

Police finally arrived and took the two into custody.

At 6:02 am PST, TMZ reported that both Lambert and Koskinen were questioned and released since neither party was injured.

Lambert took to Twitter to downplay the fight. Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :) he tweeted from his account, @adamlambert.

The blonde Big Brother star then went to his blog to discuss the incident, writing: Publicity is not easy, but also celebrities are just human. Love is not easy either, but it lasts forever!

The signer arrived in Finland on Dec. 19 to celebrate the Christmas holiday with Koskinen.
