Adam Levine Moving On From Anne V? Maroon 5 Singer Takes On Role In ‘American Horror Story’
Adam Levine may have just broken up with model girlfriend Anne V., but the lead singer of Maroon 5 is already moving on - with Ryan Murphy. Levine has confirmed that he will be appearing on Ryan Murphy's hit FX show American Horror Story.
Murphy has already confirmed that the season one star, Jessica Lange will be returning for a chilling second season, but fans were surprised when Levine was added to the mix. It's the truth, Levine tells Ryan Seacrest. I mean, it's pretty much happening. I think it's happening. I don't know how much I can divulge, because Ryan [Murphy] is very under wraps.
It's going to be fun, says Levine of his upcoming role. And I told [Ryan] I really didn't know what I was doing but he didn't seem to really care. So I'm just going to go and try to [do] acting, he reveals to Seacrest. I think I'm going to be kind of playing myself so hopefully it will be easy.
While Levine doesn't reveal any spoilers for the second season, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that he will play a contemporary character, and half of a couple called The Lovers.
The only spoilers that have been released about the second season of American Horror Story is that the story will be set in a mental institution on the east coast. Other returning cast members from season one besides Jessica Lange include Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson and Zachary Quinto.
The second season of American Horror Story will hit FX this October.
