Adam Levine 'not sorry' for Adam Lambert comment: Levine's rockstar casual style
Back handed comments from Adam Levine on 'The Voice' Tuesday night left Adam Lambert fans in a rage and to expel this rage they took to Twitter, alerting Glambert to the incident.
Nakia, a contestant on NBC's new hit singing competition 'The Voice,' performed Adam Lambert's hit 'Whatya Want From Me' and Levine, the frontman for the band Maroon 5, said he loved it: I'm pretty sure, although I've never heard that song before, that you probably sang it better than the person that sang it originally.
Ohhh burn?
Fans immediately began tweeting Lambert to which the 'American Idol' runner-up responded kindly. He tweeted, Yeah Nakia! Saaaang boy!! Great performace. I think Adam might know who I am after this next album. Get ready for me Levine. Hahah
Apparently this wasn't enough for his fans who kept overreacting tweeting to the singer who then responded again: But for the record, Im def a Maroon 5 fan. Fans: there is NO reason to be angry. Thanks for being protective but it's all good. :)
Spoken/tweeted like a true PR rep gentleman.
Levine eventually took to his own Twitter account to respond ever-so sweetly: I had honestly never heard that song before. I thought @nakia made me like a song that would have otherwise fallen flat. I'm NOT sorry.'
And so the Twitter feud ends before it even really began.
Levine has been in the spotlight for his role as a judge on 'The Voice'--a job he shares with fellow singers Christina Aguilers, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton. He's most known for bickering with Aguilera on the show. Levine's band, Maroon 5, who hit it big with their break through singe 'Harder to Breath' is about to release a new album and go on tour.
Will the Maroon 5 album sell more copies than Lambert's impending record? Only time will tell. It's battle Adam. Game on.
Here's a look through some of Levine's best rockstar casual moments.
