Adele is 'a Little Too Fat,' M.I.A.' Middle Finger is 'a Bad Habit,' Says Karl Lagerfeld

Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld is still his outspoken self as he reportedly recently told a Paris publication that Adele is a little too fat and has weighed in on M.I.A. middle finger at the 2012 Super Bowl saying that it is a bad habit.

Cover media reported that Lagerfeld, 78, made the comments to Metro Paris.

The thing at the moment is Adele, Lagerfeld said. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.

Lagerfeld was also reportedly asked about M.I.A. showing the middle finger while performing with Madonna and Nicki Minaj during the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday. He responded saying that people give the middle finger quite quickly these days.

It's not the best behaviour, Lagerfeld said. Everybody does that, what's new about that? It's just become a bad habit.

Adele, a 23-year-old British soul singer, recently had throat surgery and is set to make her much-awaited comeback at the Grammy Awards this month.

The singer made the announcement last month on her Twitter page.
