Adele to Take Legal Action Over Fake Sex Tape
As rumors of Adele's supposed five year break finally begin to subside, another shocking story has made it's way into the news. The French magazine Public recently ran an issue with the headline, Adele: La Sex Tape! The issue included stills from a home-made adult video that supposedly features Adele and her former boyfriend. However, Adele's spokesperson immediately shot down the claims, saying that the allegations of a sex tape featuring Adele were 100 percent false and untrue and grossly defamatory.
The 23-year-old superstar was outraged by the libelous claims and promptly hired top law firm Schillings to take legal action against the French tabloid that dedicated a three page spread to the story.
We are informed that the French magazine Public has today published images which it claims show our client in a sex tape, Adele's lawyers said in a statement to the Daily Mail. Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs. Such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter.
French paparazzo Jean-Claude Elfassi further added to the drama by tweeting that he had a copy of the tape and would release it today, according to the NY Post. However, the link he provided is currently not working. Elfassi then urged followers to buy an issue of the magazine because they were selling out so quickly.
The sex-tape was supposedly made by the singer's ex-boyfriend, who also inspired some of her most popular songs. However, when asked about her former beau after winning six Grammy Awards last weekend, Adele said that the two were actually on good terms.
