Adidas 'Boston Stands As One' Shirt Proceeds To Help Victims Of Boston Marathon Bombings [PHOTO]

Adidas has created a “Boston Stands As One” T-shirt in an effort to support those affected by the tragic Boston marathon bombings.

"The selflessness and compassion demonstrated by the city of Boston, the first responders, the Boston Athletic Association and all marathon volunteers in providing assistance to the injured have stuck with us and inspired us." Adidas President Patrik Nilsson said in a release this week.

“We commend Boston -- and those associated with the city and the marathon -- for their reaction to this very challenging situation. We applaud them for standing together as one on Monday and in the days which have followed."

Adidas has been a sponsor of the Boston Marathon for the past 25 years.

As the race is 26.2 miles, the cost of the shirt is $26.20. All proceeds will go to the One Fund Boston Inc. The shirts are on sale now. The color of the shirt is blue. The word “boston” is lowercase and in yellow, while “stands as one” is in a smaller font and white lettering.

The bombing suspects have been identified as Dzhokhar, 19, and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26. Tamerlan was killed during the ensuing manhunt, while his younger brother is still on the loose.

Anzor Tsarnaev, the father of the two suspects who lives in Makhachkala, Russia, said that he had spoken to his sons after the attack and begged them to turn themselves in to the police. “Give up. Give up. You have a bright future ahead of you. Come home to Russia.”
