A toddler that couldn’t resist his mother’s hug crawled his way into her workspace where she was delivering a weather report, and a video of the adorable interruption melted many hearts over the weekend.

ABC7's news anchor Leslie Lopez was making a live weather forecast on Jan. 8 from her home when the tot toddled up to her and wrapped his arms around her legs, prompting Lopez to burst into laughter and lifting him in a hug. Lopez continued to deliver the report without missing a beat.

The video has been widely watched, racking up 1.9 million views as of Monday and 55000 re-tweets.

"There’s a baby down below," Lopez says as in the video, as she pauses for a laugh. "He walks now guys, I’ve lost all control," Lopez adds, before redirecting the broadcast to a commercial.

Meanwhile, another user seemed to relate to Lopez's struggles as a working mom. "Real life of a working mom!" she said.
